SMASH-ing Graphic Fashion- Designing L.A. Powerpop groups visual identity

So, I finally got around to posting the CD package I designed for Los Angeles glam powerpop sensations SMASH Fashion. The band wanted to go for a clean, minimal look and use one pop color for accents. The most frequent thought while designing their visual identity for this release was a phrase lead singer Roger Deering often repeated to me "Glam is decadent psychedelia." I think the look really captures the essence of what the band are about and is a nice compliment to their sound on this disc (which I happen to really like). I also saw a recent review of this album which I thought I'd include here too. See my previous post to check out the cool 7" single I designed for them as well.

Business Card

Here's a cool little project I got to do for Dallas area tattoo artist Jerimiah Odom. He specializes in old school style work but can do almost anything. Give Mr. Odom a call!

SMASH Fashion 7" sleeve design

Here's a first look at the sleeve I recently designed for Los Angeles "dandy rockers" SMASH Fashion. I also designed their last CD. This vinyl-only release is going to be a limited run of 300. Check these guys out at
